Singapore-based Biomass Ventures secures investment from InfraCo Asia for development of biomass business in Sri Lanka

Jones Day represented Singapore-based Biomass Ventures in securing an investment from InfraCo Asia for the development of a biomass business in Sri Lanka. The business will create a supply chain for biomass and produce biomass pellets for power generation. To support the investment, Biomass Ventures and InfraCo Asia have entered into a Joint Investment and Development Agreement among other definitive agreements covering the development of an IT platform and logistics for biomass supply and design and procurement for a pellet plant. Production will be for both domestic use in Sri Lanka and export.
