PCS Phosphate seeks further reconsideration of federal emission standards in front of EPA and U.S. Court of Appeals

Jones Day is representing PCS Phosphate Company, Inc., PCS Nitrogen Fertilizer, L.P., and White Springs Agricultural Chemicals, Inc. in seeking amendments to the federal air emission standards for phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizer manufacturers. In 2015 and 2016, U.S. EPA granted reconsideration and proposed amendments to certain requirements challenged by the Companies. Jones Day continues to represent the Companies in challenging other requirements in the federal standards, both through a pending request for U.S. EPA reconsideration and a petition for review in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
