Six Jones Day lawyers named BTI "Client Service All-Stars" for 2012

Washington, DC -- Six Jones Day lawyers have been chosen by clients as "Client Service All-Stars" in BTI Consulting Group's 2012 survey. The survey identifies lawyers who possess the rare combination of outstanding legal skills, practical business knowledge, extraordinary attention to client needs, and noteworthy responsiveness. This year's report names 272 lawyers from 169 firms in North America and Europe. Corporate counsel identified these attorneys, unprompted and by name, as the absolute best at delivering client service.

Partner Andrew Kramer passed away on November 21, 2011. The BTI report included the following tribute:

The BTI Consulting Group mourns the loss of Mr. Andrew M. Kramer, a Partner at Jones Day. Mr. Kramer, a member of The BTI Client Service All-Star Team for a number of years—including 2012, set an extraordinary standard for client service for himself and his partners. Mr. Kramer led the client relations initiatives at Jones Day and led by example. Clients recognized Mr. Kramer as "exceptionally responsive," "delivering infallible legal advice" and "committed to a strategic relationship." Mr. Kramer’s broad legacy includes serving as an example for exceptional client service.

BTI's analysis trends data from more than 3,100 corporate counsel client interviews conducted over a 11 year period. In the past year, BTI interviewed nearly 240 corporate counsel from large and Fortune 1000 companies, comprising more than 15 industries, to study all aspects of client relationships. Survey respondents praised the ability of many BTI Client Service All-Stars to instill a confidence and trust reserved only for their most valued and strategic business partners.
