David Roberts' practice focuses on commercial property investment and development, and he is an acknowledged leader in the establishment of unit trusts, partnerships/limited partnerships, and other joint venture vehicles. He co-heads Jones Day's Real Estate Practice worldwide.

David's recent experience includes acting for long-standing client British Land on the formation of a 50/50 joint venture partnership with London & Stamford relating to British Land's Meadowhall Shopping Centre near Sheffield in consideration of £587.7 million.

Furthermore David has in 2009 acted for London & Stamford on the acquisition of 1 Fleet Place, London in consideration of £74 million; No 1 Whitehall Riverside, Leeds in consideration of £37.6 million; a Somerfield Distribution Centre in Wellingborough in consideration of £19.6 million; and Aintree Retail Park, Liverpool in consideration of £61 million.

His other representative clients include Bank of Ireland, Cordea Savills, Delancey, Hansteen, and Hercules Unit Trust.

David is recognized as a leading individual in both the Chambers and Legal 500 legal directories.
