Charlotte Sallabank advises on all aspects of United Kingdom corporate tax with particular emphasis on financial transactions, including structured and asset-based financing and cross-border transactions. She also advises on mergers and acquisitions, tax-efficient group structuring, and a variety of corporate joint venture arrangements, as well as environmental taxes.

Charlotte represented the taxpayer in Barclays Mercantile Business Finance Limited v. Mawson, the U.K. tax anti-avoidance case won by the taxpayer in the U.K. House of Lords. Charlotte recently advised Goodrich Corporation on the U.K. tax aspects of its joint venture with Rolls-Royce Group Plc for the development and supply of engine control systems.

Charlotte is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She is a frequent speaker at taxation conferences and is a regular contributor to the tax section of In-House Lawyer magazine.
