Chris McLaughlin is a trial lawyer with a nationwide litigation practice and more than a decade of experience handling complex commercial disputes. He has represented clients as plaintiffs, individual defendants, and class action defendants in a wide variety of matters in state and federal courts across the country. He has served as trial counsel in both jury and bench trials and has argued appeals before multiple federal circuit courts.

Although Chris has broad litigation experience, his practice focuses on representing companies in contract and warranty disputes related to the performance of equipment and machinery such as air conditioning systems, diesel engines, induction heat treating systems, and aircraft engines and parts. He also devotes a significant part of his practice to employment-related litigation involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition. In addition, Chris has extensive experience defending companies in product liability litigation involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Besides his litigation practice, Chris is actively involved in legal and community affairs. He is a barrister in the Judge John M. Manos Inn of Court and serves on the board of directors of the Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter. From 2009 to 2015, Chris also served on the board of directors of Project Learn, an organization focused on advancing adult literacy.
