Brian O'Neill is a leading California trial lawyer. He has extensive trial experience in the state and federal court systems — having represented and defended corporations and individuals in significant civil and criminal litigation in California and in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Brian has represented clients, corporate and individual, plaintiff and defendant, in a broad array of civil matters. Brian also has substantial appellate experience, arguing cases in federal appeals courts and California appellate courts, as well as the California Supreme Court. Additionally, Brian regularly represents business entities and individuals in white-collar criminal matters, including grand jury, administrative, and criminal investigations involving antitrust, bankruptcy, bribery, customs, defense contracting, environmental, export controls, foreign corrupt practices, securities, and tax cases. His clients include officers and employees of technology exporters, defense contractors, oil companies, commercial importers, financial institutions, labor unions, law firms, accounting firms, politicians, and professional athletes.

Brian is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He is a member of the American Bar Association (former chair of the White Collar Crime Committee) and has served as a lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. He served as counsel to the commission that was formed to investigate the L.A. Police Department after the Rodney King incident.

Brian is a member of the Wong Sun Society. He writes and lectures on civil and criminal litigation and related subjects and has taught trial practice to lawyers and law students.
