Ali Schill focuses her practice on complex commercial matters, consumer fraud class actions, internal investigations, and products liability litigation defense. Ali brings a wide array of experience in civil matters arising under federal law to her practice.

Ali currently serves as lead defense counsel for one of the nation's major credit reporting agencies in cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and she also has represented clients in a variety of high-stakes litigation matters involving the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and government and internal corporate investigations. She was part of a team that secured a favorable resolution on behalf of Marathon Petroleum and Speedway in a significant consumer protection lawsuit brought by the Kentucky Attorney General and is currently defending multiple Fortune 500 companies facing nationwide class action lawsuits.

Ali maintains an active pro bono practice. As part of Jones Day's Laredo Project, she was a member of a team that secured a grant of asylum under U.S. immigration law for a woman who fled persecution in her home country. She also helped to secure the freedom of an individual who was wrongfully convicted of first-degree murder.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Ali served as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Ali also previously worked at the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio, where she gained valuable experience in communications, media relations, and health care.
