2. Admission:

Unless otherwise indicated, all German lawyers at Jones Day are admitted in the Federal Republic of Germany as German Attorneys at Law (Rechtsanwalt) and are members of their respective local Attorneys Chambers.

The Jones Day lawyers acting as patent lawyers are admitted as Patent Lawyers in the Federal Republic of Germany, and as such, are members of the Patent Bar.  In addition, these lawyers are admitted as members of The Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market. Jones Day lawyers acting as European Patent Attorneys are admitted as members of the European Patent Agency (EPA). The FICPI Rules and Regulations and the Code of Professional Conduct of the epi are applicable to proceedings before the EPA.

Patent Lawyer Chambers:

To the extent lawyers are also Tax Advisors or Notaries, they are admitted as Tax Advisors (Steuerberater) or Notaries (Notar) in the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the respective local Chambers.
