Mandy Childs practices complex commercial litigation focusing on securities fraud, contract disputes, antitrust allegations, consumer class actions, and bankruptcy-related litigation. She has represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, lenders, and other interested parties in bankruptcy and adversary proceedings.

Mandy has assisted in matters for clients such as Bank of America, ConsumerInfo.com, Dana Corporation, Dell, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation, and Southern Company. Most recently, she worked on the team defending a major computer technology manufacturer and distributor, including certain of its senior executives and board of directors, against claims that the company and individual defendants violated sections 10(b), 20(a), and 20A of the Securities Exchange Act as well as derivative lawsuits and an SEC investigation resulting from those claims. In particular, Mandy was tasked with helping prepare certain of the company's senior executives for testimony. Further, Mandy was charged with overseeing the data preservation, collection, and forensic analysis with respect to this client. In that capacity, she has acted as an advisor and liaison for in-house counsel, communicating with outside counsel and e-discovery teams at various local and national vendors. Moreover, she frequently speaks and advises on topics related to e-discovery.

Mandy is actively involved in the community including the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and Attorneys Serving the Community. Mandy was honored to serve as Jones Day Dallas's first Lend-A-Lawyer at DVAP. After her experiences at DVAP, Mandy helped create the Jones Day Dallas Associate Pro Bono Committee.
